If anyone experienced TIA and for how long?

I had a TIA

I had a TIA and then another at the hospital an hour and a half after the first. It has been a week. I am now left feeling slight nausea and light headed whenever I do anything. Whilst laying or sitting it doesn’t seem to be there and dissipates within five minutes of doing so. May I ask if anyone experienced this and for how long? It is getting worse also- I find it’s happening quicker each time. It is positively a dreadful feeling. I feel like another TIA is about to happen whenever I do anything because of it. I would also like to say a sincere thank you for this group 🤗💞
I had a MRI 2 hours from the first TIA and a CT scan and another MRI 16 hours after that. It showed I have had a silent stroke at some time 😕 I am left so terribly scared. On leaving hospital I was to have another MRI in three months but the nuerologist has phoned me since and has now made that 3 weeks from now. All of my blood tests came back perfect so I didn’t leave hospital with any medicine. Thank you kindly for listening 💞

There’s really nothing they can give you. My vascular doc put me on aspirin as a blood thinner, that’s it.

Susan Nowinski Remmo Yes, I understand this. He didn’t put me on aspirin because there are two types of strokes and if it is the bleed type aspirin makes it worse so he needs to find which one I may be moving towards. I hope I explained that correctly. I barely could take anything in I was reeling. The most frightening thing to have ever happened to me.

Susan Nowinski Remmo Although, I did have the asprin immediately with the paramedic and the following morning I must say.

Alexandria Lévesque I know. They can be terrifying. And the worst part? You never know when they might happen again. It’s a daily fear for me.

Alexandria Lévesque standard protocol for suspected stroke or heart attack.

Susan Nowinski Remmo I have never felt such fear. Let’s pray it will never happen again to any of us. Dr said more likely than not it will never happen again. It’s the feeling I am left with at this time that has me so fearful and just want to know if others have it and it went away. I know once I see my own Dr (he has been away and I can’t see him till Monday) he will explain so much more and allay my fears to a greater extent. I am so grateful this group exists to not feel so alone in these feelings.
