Musculoskeletal Imaging What Diseases Common Disease?
Musculoskeletal imaging is a group of tests that produce pictures of the bones, muscles, and tendons. Doctors use these images to diagnose injuries or diseases affecting the musculoskeletal system.
Musculoskeletal diseases include:
- Back pain
- Hip pain
- Joint Pain
- Knee pain
The most common conditions seen in musculoskeletal imaging are:
Osteoarthritis causes pain and stiffness in the joints.
Bursitis causes pain over the bursae (a fluid-filled sac that cushions joints).
Tendinitis causes pain in areas where tendons attach to bone.
Rheumatoid Arthritis, your body mistakenly targets and destroys the lining around your joints the synovium.
Dislocation causes a joint to be pulled out of place and no longer connect with another bone.
Fracture causes a bone breaks into two or more pieces.
Fibromyalgia is a disorder that causes pain all over your body (myalgia).
