Safety Tips For Tae Bo Workouts

What is Tae Bo?

Tae Bo is a form of exercise. It was invented by Billy Blanks who has been the world champion in karate seven times. Billy Blanks was born in Pennsylvania. He was trained in Tae Kwon Do and Karate. This is an interesting and intensive form of exercise which he devised by combining music with workouts. Billy Blanks was not convinced with the traditional form of exercises.

He wanted to add more to the same and enhance the positive aspects of workout to benefit people. So he devised an entirely new form which came as a fusion of various forms of exercises put into one. It is a form of cardiovascular exercise which is a mixture of dance, music, martial arts, yoga, kickboxing and even aerobics. This form of workout became very popular in 1980′s as a very interesting form of exercise. Major areas where Tae Bo concentrated were stretching, self defense, martial arts, constant movement to build and tone muscles, increases flexibility, lose calories and hence weight.

Safety tips

Exercises in any form help us keep our body fit and energized. But they should not be randomly followed. Any health strategy must be followed after looking into what will suit our body the best.

There are few tips which can help with that:

* One should follow a proper health strategy which does not overstress or under stress the body.

* One should not start with Tae Bo without the warm up exercises.

* Every body has a different endurance power. We should not stretch it beyond that level as it will lead to muscle damage and dislocation of joints.

* Extra work is never good for the body. It just impairs the immunity and the lymphocytes in the body.

* Tae Bo should be preferably done under proper instructions of a trainer.

* One should not use weights while doing the punches and stretches.

* One should not get disappointed if he does not get desired results in a day or two. Some people’s bodies take time to lose calories.

* Any fitness regimen must be strictly and regularly followed.
