Celiac disease is a condition that affects the human digestive system and can cause a range of health problems. Symptoms of celiac disease include diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, and weight loss. Other diseases that can be common for those with celiac disease include osteoporosis, anemia, infertility, thyroid problems, psoriasis, and various skin cancers.

Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation in the small intestine due to the body’s reaction to gluten. Gluten is a type of protein found in wheat, rye, and barley. Other diseases that can occur along because with celiac disease include Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, and dermatitis herpetiformis.
